Spinal Cord Injury Canada operates as a unique, collaborative, federated model across the country. Each provincial spinal cord injury organization is autonomous and the National Office coordinates the efforts of all organizations with the assistance of the National Board of Directors. Together, we have a strong voice! With over 300 staff across Canada, in eight different provinces, we offer services that are customized to meet the needs of each individual served. One of our truly special programs is Peer Support. If you are new to spinal cord injury, it is so important to talk to a peer - someone who has "Been there. Done that". This is true for family members, too. Call your local office, and set up a time to meet. Our community is supportive and understanding.
